8/27/83 ( http://www.archive.org/details/gd83-08-27.sennheiser.dodd.12359.sbeok.shnf ) has always been a favorite. IMHO the first set is outstanding, with many of my favorite versions of some tunes (the Esau one of them). The Jack Straw opener has Phil attempting to hurt people. The Deep Elem smokes, BEW is one of my favorites, LRR actually makes me like the tune with Jerry smoking the final jam like he too actually likes the tune. LLR is another one that gets me into a tune I normally can do without - Jerry lights it up in the end. And the Deal set closer? Monsterous. Second set is ho-hum for the most part, but the first is really nice.

4.9.83 They were still putting this song together, we called it "Shadow Boxing" till we found out what the title was, 83-84 they played it regularly, I like it, nice and bouncy, Bobby did it justice, It seemed like they never really finalized the tune and it eventually faded away, Oh yea Roanoke 07/07/87- Civic Center - Breat set of shows.
